The trails
The Club des 6 cantons is continuously developing its trail network, adding to its number of kilometers season after season. Founded in 1978 by lovers of the great outdoors, the Club started out with one 10-kilometer cross-country skiing trail. Today, the Club is proud to offer a broad trail network spread on two different sites, comprising more than 65 km of marked courses: 48 km for cross-country skiing, 9 km for snowshoeing, and 11 km of hiking trails, which convert in snowshoeing trails in the winter. The network is accessible to sports enthusiasts of all levels and ages.
Cross-country skiing trails Trails map
The Club offers eight beautiful marked and packed trails, for a total of 50 km reserved solely for cross-country skiiers. Many trails were re-traced in 2001 in order to better cater to the needs of both beginner and advanced skiers.
La Tortue4.5 km
La Tortue is perfect for beginning skiers. More experienced skiers looking for a short run also appreciate this trail, as its snow conditions are always ideal. La Tortue offers two different courses, which offers skiers the option of either taking a short-cut or prolonging the run by half a kilometer.
La Hibou1.2 km
This loop-shaped beginner's trail starts at Chez Rodrigue and takes you to La Belvédère.

La Castor3.7 km
Its short hikes up and pleasant rides make Le Castor our most popular trail. Its loop-shaped course can be completed within 45 minutes by intermediate skiers. On the way to the Chez Rodrigue cabin, it will take you through a picturesque landscape laden with healthy hardwood trees.
La Bûcheron8.8 km
This intermediate to advanced level trail is the Club's most demanding. After a challenging hike uphill, you'll relieved by the slow downhill slope, but be ready for one or two short turns.
La Belette4.5 km
This intermediate level course is perfect to start off the day. Get ready for a winding downhill slope after the sunny wooden hill!

La Belvédère2.6 km
This wide trail fenced with softwood trees will lead you directly to Le Cap cabin, where you will be taken away by the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The up- and downhill slopes are relatively shallow, but they are many...
La Chevreuil9.8 km
This trail is very popular amongst deers, hence its name. La Chevreuil's 10 km runs by a centennial pine tree, timeless rocks shaped by the elements, and many beaver dykes. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glance of the bald eagle overflying its territory.
La Rose8.2 km
La Rose is the longuest and wildest course of the network: it requires endurance and a good physical condition. It starts on La Belette and continues through forests of softwood and then hardwood trees. Three-quarters of the way forth, beware of one particularly steep slope; it should only be risked in the powder snow.
